As you might expect, Chicago apartments for rent near “L” stations are always in high demand, especially around downtown and many of the city’s north and west side neighborhoods. 

But if you’re wondering which “L” stations are among the most expensive to live near, RentHop recently released a study that examined just that. According to their findings, one bedroom apartments near the Harlem/Lake station have seen the highest jump, increasing by over 15% from the first quarter of 2016 through the first quarter of 2017. 

The Chicago Avenue Purple/Brown Line also saw significant gains over that same timer period, jumping by just over 11%.
