When searching for a new condo, loft, or apartment in downtown Chicago, being located near a CTA train station is often a priority, ensuring easy and effective transportation to numerous other parts of the city.

Until the Morgan/Lake station was rebuilt and reopened back in 2012, most West Loop residents chose to use the UIC-Halsted Blue Line or the Grand Avenue Blue Line Station as a means for getting to and from the Loop or any number of Chicago’s west side neighborhoods. But depending on where you live in the West Loop, walking to either station was probably a pretty lengthy hike, especially if you were situated towards the central part of the neighborhood.

Today, the Morgan/Lake station acts as one of the busier stops along the Green and Pink Lines, and it’s only going to get busier as development around the West Loop and Fulton Market continues, not to mention the opening of 1K Fulton is right around the corner, which brings 550,000 square feet of office space to the area and lots and lots of daily commuters.
