Starting in just 3 days, foodies around Chicago will be out in full force for Chicago Restaurant Week—a two week extravaganza that celebrates the ever-evolving dining scene here in the greatest food-city on earth. Although roughly 250 restaurants will be participating in this year’s event, there won’t be a better time to check out one of downtown Chicago’s newest attractions, Pinstripes in River East.
A unique bistro, bowling and bocce concept that occupies 33,000 square feet in the iconic loft building at 435 E. Illinois Street, Pinstripes will make its official debut this Saturday while also rolling out a special menu for the upcoming Restaurant Week, which can be seen below.
In all, the new Pinstripes indoor/outdoor entertainment venue houses 11 bowling lanes, 7 bocce courts, and a fabulous bistro and bar that features Italian-American cuisine, an array of wines and specialty beers, handcrafted cocktails, and a cozy atmosphere that couldn’t be more inviting.
Along with the new Pinstripes space on the lower- and ground-level floors, the upper levels of the 109 year-old River East Plaza loft building have also been converted into 300 ultra-luxury apartent rentals, which are the only loft-style apartments in all of Streeterville.
