The Loews Hotel, which is also home to the North Water apartments that are situated on floors 15-49 above the hotel, is finally unveiling perhaps its coolest amenity—a spectacular 9,000 square foot terrace on the third floor that’s being called the largest in all of downtown Chicago.
Called Streeterville Social, this dynamic new restaurant and bar will officially make its debut on June 26th, just five days after the first official day of summer, despite part of it actually being open to the public now.
Featuring two bars, a huge lawn area for outdoor games like oversized Jenga and cornhole, and both a fairly lengthy food and drink menu, those behind the restaurant say the space offers a park-like setting with cabanas and swinging birdcage chairs also part of the decor.
Despite only being on the third floor, the views from Streeterville Social still aren’t too shabby, especially on the Michigan Avenue side, which overlooks the plaza.
