Looking for your next place to dine out? If you’re from Chicago and already familiar with its world-class dining scene, chances are you’ve at least had one opportunity to check out the wide variety of options that line West Randolph Street on what’s known as the West Loop’s Restaurant Row.
Like most things in downtown Chicago, restaurants are always coming and going in the West Loop and if you haven’t made your way over to this stretch of Randolph recently, you might be surprised at some of the inevitable changes that have been made just this year alone.
Of course many of the familiar establishments like Girl and the Goat and Nia are still thriving, while one of the area’s most affordable and recognizable eateries in the Perez Mexican Restaurant still occupies the corner of Randolph & Peoria Street.
As Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood continues to grow, so does its extensive inventory of restaurants, bars, and cafés that make up what’s now considered the mecca of dining in downtown Chicago.
