Part of a megaproject that was designed to transform Good Island from an industrial area to a new mixed-use development, the Halsted Point Apartments is a refreshingly modern addition to the Chicago area. Along with thousands of new apartment homes, the multi-phase project from Onni Group also includes a hotel, tens of thousands of square feet of retail space and more than 100,000 square feet of office space.
What The Building Offers
There are four residential towers that make up Halsted Point, consisting of more than 2,600 new apartment homes. The tallest residential tower on the property stands 56-stories high, while the other four towers stand a respectable 55-stories, 46-stories and 30-stories high above Goose Island.
About 20-percent of the rental units at Halsted Point were designated as affordable units. In addition, the larger project also includes a fifth high-rise, which is a commercial tower with the development’s hotel rooms and office space.
